We areworking with a leading Tier 1 contractor on the HS2 project in Northamptonshire and is seeking an experienced Sub Agent with a strong structures background to support the delivery of complex civil engineering works. The Role You will play a key role in the delivery of major structural works, including viaducts and associated concrete structures. Working closely with the Site Agent and wider project team, you will help ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities Support the Site Agent in the delivery of structural and viaduct works Manage day-to-day site activities, subcontractors, and engineers Ensure works are delivered in line with drawings, specifications, and programme Maintain high standards of health & safety, quality, and environmental compliance Assist with planning, short-term programming, and method statements Coordinate with engineers, designers, and the temporary works team Contribute to progress reporting and site documentation About You Proven experience as a Sub Agent or Assistant Site Agent on structures-led civils projects Strong background in viaducts, bridges, or reinforced concrete structures Experience working on major infrastructure or Tier 1 projects HS2 experience is desirable but not essential SMSTS and CSCS (essential) Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills

The Role You will support major capital programmes for water companies and the Environment Agency, primarily in the Midlands. This role offers high visibility and a clear progression path into the defence and nuclear sectors. Key Responsibilities Administer NEC3/4 ECC contracts (Options A, C & E) on the client side. Lead budget control, payment valuations, cost forecasting, and defined cost determination. Maintain rigorous commercial records and resolve contractual disputes or issues. Pre-Contract: Conduct feasibility studies, cost planning, and prepare/evaluate tender documentation. Post-Contract: Manage contract compliance, negotiate variations, and resolve claims. Final Accounts: Oversee post-project evaluations and final account settlements. Collaborate with senior leadership on bid development and proposal strategies. Provide essential commercial data and insight to strengthen submissions and support business growth. Qualifications & Requirements Degree in Quantity Surveying (Bachelors or Masters). Progressing toward RICS chartership or equivalent. Strong proficiency in NEC3/4 (Options A, C, E) and knowledge of CDM regulations. Background in water, environment, defence, or nuclear sectors; exposure to ECI/ESI in Design & Build is highly valued. Ability to mentor junior staff; line management experience is a plus. Project Quantity Surveyor Ipswich , Suffolk 55,000 - 65,000 Per Annum + Package We are seeking an Project Quantity Surveyor to join our client's team on a Major Project based out of their Suffolk office on a permanent basis. Our client is an industry leader within the Civil Engineering space and have worked on large scale projects across the UK. Responsibilities: Supporting the Senior Quantity Surveyor in managing all contractual and commercial needs across a number of concurrent schemes at different stages. Managing and identifying opportunities and risks within the contract. Meeting and collaborating with, subcontractors, suppliers, and the project team for smooth project delivery. Requirements: Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor on large scale projects. Holds relevant HND in subjects including building/ construction, urban, civil and land studies.
