Role Purpose: The purpose of this role is to support the CCTV and security team by installing and maintaining temporary, rapid deployment, and fixed CCTV systems, intruder alarms, access control systems, door entry, and other high-end security systems at Balfour Beatty sites across the UK. What you'll be doing Your accountabilities will be as follows: Repair, maintain and install CCTV in accordance with the relevant standards, and specific system specifications. Ensure all work is finished in an efficient and proper manner in accordance with company standards and protocol. Assist in upholding excellent site security, always. Delivery & collection of assets and materials. Implementing risk assessments and method statements as and when required. Report any observed unsafe acts, near misses and positive observations. Stay up to date with relevant regulatory codes and standards. Who we're looking for The role requires a substantial understanding of the BBATS business, its processes, organisation and customer relationships. The success of the role depends upon strong and collaborative relationships across the BBATS business and the related customer hierarchy. Such is the level of activity; deadlines are demanding and increasingly onerous as a result the individual will need to constantly seek to improve their own knowledge and performance. The individual will be both focussed and thorough and have the gravitas and professional credibility to advise senior management when something needs immediate redress together with the tenacity and drive to ensure that the necessary action is taken. Technical knowledge of intruder alarms, door entry, fire & access control systems. The individual will need to be able to have understanding and knowledge, with a high level of accuracy and need of: IP CCTV experience. Trade qualifications related to CCTV. Experience working within BAFE/SSAIB/NSI accredited company. Good understanding of current standards. Full UK driving licence.
