Application Integration Engineer - Permanent - Knutsford Hybrid - 3 days on site, 2 days remote My client is looking for someone who enjoys working across application configuration, system integration, & complex environments. My client builds cloud-based communications platform that integrates with enterprise systems & powers Real Time communication workflows across distributed microservices. This is a hands-on technical engineering role focused on making sure my client's application ecosystem works as a complete integrated solution. PLM/CAD Application Support Engineer - Permanent - Methil, Fife On site 5 days per week 37 hour week - 12.30pm Finish on Fridays Very occasional travel to other sites - Must be able to drive & have a car Required: - Hands on experience supporting PLM & CAD applications. Proven experience providing first line application support for PLM/CAD systems, owning incidents through to resolution. Strong working knowledge of engineering workflows, including design, engineering change control, & configuration management. Experience supporting engineers & manufacturing users in operational, production critical settings. Ability to diagnose PLM/CAD application issues & work effectively with central application SMEs to resolve them. Experience supporting integrated enterprise environments, including ERP systems (eg SAP) alongside PLM/CAD. Confident communicator with the ability to work directly with engineering & manufacturing stakeholders PLM/CAD Application Support Engineer Job Description Be the on site expert for business & enterprise applications, ensuring stable, reliable, & proactive application support across the site. You will keep critical engineering & manufacturing applications running, providing first line support & owning tickets through to resolution. This role places you at the heart of the operation supporting PLM, CAD, & SAP, as well as everyday applications, working directly with engineers & production teams, & taking full ownership of issues from first report to final fix. Acting as the local interface between site teams & stakeholders, Enterprise Applications, & the wider IT organization, you will support a complex engineering & manufacturing environment. The role requires strong hands on experience with business critical systems, particularly PLM (Teamcenter/Windchill) & CAD, & a clear understanding of how applications enable engineering, production, & operational processes. The Role Provide hands on first line application support for PLM & CAD systems used by engineering & manufacturing teams, owning incidents, requests, & problems through to resolution Develop deep, site specific knowledge of engineering workflows, configurations, integrations, & dependencies across PLM, CAD, SAP, & related systems. Ensuring minimal disruption to design, engineering change, & production processes Diagnose application issues & escalate effectively to central application SMEs, tracking progress through to closure Build strong relationships with engineering, manufacturing, & operational stakeholders to understand application usage & identify improvement opportunities Collaborate with Enterprise Applications teams to ensure consistent standards, knowledge sharing, & continuous improvement Work closely with the Site IT Business Partner to align application support priorities Participate in site & cross functional projects focused on digital transformation & process optimization Maintain accurate documentation for application support procedures & known issues.
