A leading Facilities Management contractor is currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee construction and FM-related works on a live site. This role is being recruited on behalf of our client by a specialist recruitment agency. The Role As Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of FM construction works onsite, ensuring all activities are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with contractual and statutory requirements. Key responsibilities include: Overseeing and coordinating all FM works onsite, including subcontractors and direct labour Acting as the main point of contact on site for the client and FM teams Ensuring works are delivered to programme, budget, and quality standards Writing, issuing, and managing Permits to Work, RAMS, and other site documentation Monitoring health & safety compliance and enforcing site standards at all times Conducting site inspections, audits, and toolbox talks Reporting progress, issues, and risks to senior management Ensuring minimal disruption to site operations during works Requirements Proven experience as a Site Manager with civils background Strong understanding of FM works in live environments Experience writing and managing Permits to Work Solid knowledge of health & safety regulations and safe systems of work SMSTS (or SSSTS), First Aid, and CSCS (essential) Excellent communication and organisational skills Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously What s on Offer Competitive salary / day rate Opportunity to work with a reputable FM contractor Long-term contract or permanent opportunity (depending on role) Support from an experienced recruitment and delivery team If you are an experienced Site Manager with a strong FM background and are looking for your next opportunity, we d like to hear from you.
