Estimator Based In Hagley We are currently hiring for an experienced Purchasing / FM Services Estimator. This role will suit someone with experience in a similar position with the technical knowledge of facilities management being essential. It would be particularly advantageous for the successful candidate to possess demonstrable skills and experience with estimating/quoting repair/installation jobs involving a variety of disciplines (incl. plumbing, flooring, roofing, general building fabric, air conditioning, electricals and gas). Supporting the Operational teams taking on the role of Small Works Estimator producing quotations for PPM and reactive works. Duties: Day to day management of client cost estimates for day to day and small works projects within the building services industry, including but not limited to HVAC, Electrical, Fabric and Plumbing. based on specifications, drawings, and other relevant documentation. Maintain relationships with the wider teams to ensure optimum service delivery including account managers, project managers, engineers, and suppliers to gather necessary information for accurate estimations and profit forecasts. Maintain relationships with Account Managers and other Internal teams, continuously monitor client service delivery against SLAs and KPIs. Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships with new and existing accounts to ensure ongoing quote approval and client satisfaction. Provide regular reporting to Senior Management regarding financial and operational progress of client accounts with regards to Quote progress. Identify emerging markets and market shifts, whilst also being fully aware of market developments and competitive environment. Build relationships with multiple suppliers and obtain quotations for parts and components to ensure reliability, cost stability, and value. Source and benchmark suppliers/subcontractors across multiple FM categories, negotiate pricing to ensure value for money. Develop and maintain rate libraries, and pricing models. Maintain an approved supplier list, ensuring compliance with H&S, insurance, accreditations, and standards. Proven experience as an FM estimator in a similar role within the facilities management or construction industry is essential. Experience in both hard and soft FM categories. Knowledge of CAFM systems. Understanding of CDM, H&S requirements. Experience of sales, sales process and or sales operations is essential.
