The tech stack in simple terms is: C# .Net Core, Microservices, Azure, and Vue.JS - for these roles specifically we do need the back end skills as a minimum in C# .Net Core Microservices and Azure - ideally however, you would be a full stack developer who enjoys continuous learning and development Key skills and experience needed: C# .Net Core RESTful APIs Microservices Azure and Azure services things like (Azure Kubernetes, Container Registry, Service Bus, Cosmos DB, Key Vault, Synapse etc) Event driven architecture We have a starting salary range between £50,000 and £70,000 for the roles, dependant on experience - these roles also come with an impressive bonus and benefits package. Senior Solutions Architect-Perm Location: Hybrid - Newcastle, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, London Security Requirement: Applicants must hold active SC clearance or be eligible to obtain it (UK citizenship and 5 years' continuous UK residence required). Our client is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to design and lead end-to-end digital solutions across government, healthcare, and purpose-driven sectors. You will: Own solution design from concept through to delivery. Align architecture with business outcomes, technical strategy, and governance. Produce clear solution blueprints across business, data, application, and technology domains. Engage senior stakeholders and support delivery teams to implement solutions effectively. Ensure compliance with security and quality standards. Role Requirements Proven experience performing solutions architecture responsibilities. Strong background in software development or technical delivery. Experience working in Agile, Scrum, or DevOps environments. Knowledge of architecture frameworks and modelling approaches. Strong stakeholder engagement and consulting skills. While not essential, experience with architecture frameworks is beneficial, such as: TOGAF Zachman Open Agile Architecture

Having known this organisation for many years, they pride themselves on a very high bar in terms of quality of development and innovation when it comes to their engineering and architecture that supports their products both internally and externally. A lead developer / tech lead for this organisation has the benefit of deciding how they run their product team and how the role looks - for example you could be 20% hands on and 80% leadership activity, or can be more 50/50 - it's up to you. It would be important to note that lead developers while they wont be coding every day, will be involved in discussions around architecture, code reviews and driving the overall engineering agenda in their product team, as well as in discussions with delivery managers and product managers - so its essential the tech lead is from a hands on background and still maintains enough current knowledge in that space.
