Job Overview HGV 1 / Class 1 / C+E Night Driver, the client operates a growing fleet of HGV Vehicles, all work is palletised product. Start times are 1900 hrs, with a typical shift being 10-11 hours on a Monday to Friday on-going basis. You will be working with a client that treats its drivers as one of the team, immediate starts are available. You will be doing 1-2 drops per night never more, no handballing, you simply pull your curtains off loading, and when making collections you are asked to check your load is secure, strap where required and return to depot. Responsibilities Reliable, presentable and able to communicate in spoken English. Conduct daily vehicle walk around/safety checks before starting your shift. Ensure paperwork is handed in at the end of shift in your driver pack. Your vehicle is presented in a clean, tidy and fully fuelled manner, the client does ask that you fuel vehicles at end of shift, ensure it is tidy for the day crews. Able to plan your routes when coming across the growing number of nightly road closures due to road works. Ensure your load is secure 100% of the time, and keep traffic office informed if experiencing unexpected delays. Experienced HGV 1 / C+E bulker drivers urgently required for Long Term, on-going work, on a temp to perm basis, Monday to Friday, working for a client that operates from Saffron Walden The work requires nights out. You will be loading & unloading on farms & grain stores, start times vary from 0500AM onwards with a typical shift finish of 1800PM-1900PM each day, you will have days where you will be kept very busy. Must have experience in Bulker & Tipper work. There is a fantastic chance of going permanent for those that desire it. Monday to Friday £17.00 Per Hour Saturday & Sundays £20.00 Per Hour.
