Tailored Recruitment Partnersare working with a manufacturng business in Wetherby to recruit a Line Leader in their Packing department for nights This is a permanent opportunity and you will be expected to lead your allocated line team, liaise with Logistics, Technical, and Engineering to ensure the line achieves it s daily plan, Key Responsibilities: •Ensure all work is carried out safely •Ensure all line activity for the shift is understood and discussed with the wider team at 07:00/19:00 meeting and communicated to your allocated line team •Keep your work area to the required GMP standard •Ensure production targets are met for output, changeovers, hygiene, giveaway etc. •Carry out specific trained tasks changeovers, allergen cleans, for multiple area s. •Work with Shift Manager/ Supervisor to ensure your team are trained and capable. •Ensure an effective handover is completed with oncoming Line Leader, and the line is at standard at handover. •Understands plans and takes steps to ensure their effective completion •Lead by example at all times Skills and Competencies Required: Competencies Excellent communicator Supports development of SOP s and can train others. The role also includes transportation of meat around the factory andInto freezers and fridges. This role is physically demanding at times so you must be physically fit. The role is working Monday to Friday starting at 2am till around 12noon. Starting pay 13-14ph plus 100 per week attendance allowance and cleaning bonus
