Long established road haulage company Bespoke transport and logistics solutions UK Warehousing and distribution services International warehousing, distribution and logistics They are looking for a HGV/LGV/Class I driver to work Monday to Friday days but will include nights out at least 3 nights a week. Delivering all over the country and can be doing over 50 hours a week. Start times from 04.00 - 05.00am No DD, DR, Or IN No more than 6pts Must have held licence for 6 months Must be prepared to do nights out. Temp to perm 14 weeks through Target 18.00 -24.00 Salary when perm 33,800 plus nights out at 24.00. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Class 1 Driver Day/Night Tramper or Trunkers to join our Client Team on a full-time basis. This role involves operating Class 1 Driver vehicles for the transportation of goods across various locations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in commercial driving and have experience as a delivery driver. You will be responsible for ensuring timely and safe deliveries while adhering to all road safety regulations. Duties Operate Class 1 Driver vehicles for the transportation of goods to designated locations. Ensure the secure loading and unloading of cargo, maintaining safety standards at all times. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is roadworthy. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required by company policies. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transit. Skills Proven experience in Curtainsiders, with a strong understanding of load securing techniques. Valid Class 1 Driver licence with a clean driving record is essential. Previous experience in commercial driving or as a delivery driver is highly desirable. Excellent time management skills, with the ability to work flexible hours, including day or night shifts as required. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise effectively with team members and clients. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
