Building Manager - Edgware Salary: £45,000 Start Date: November Hours: Mon-Fri, 9:00am-5:30pm A fantastic opportunity for an organised and people-focused professional to take on a key role managing a residential portfolio in Edgware. This position blends resident engagement with operational oversight, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and well-run living environment. Key Responsibilities: Act as the dedicated point of contact for residents, building strong relationships and resolving issues promptly. Manage void properties to minimise rental loss, overseeing viewings, lettings, renewals, and tenancy matters. Coordinate and supervise contractors to deliver high-quality estate services, repairs, and compliance works. Carry out regular property inspections, ensuring communal areas are safe, clean, and well-maintained. Oversee onsite staff, including rotas, training, and performance reviews. Maintain full health & safety compliance across gas, electrical, fire safety and legionella requirements. Monitor budgets, approve invoices, and ensure expenditure is well controlled. What We're Looking For: Proven experience in property management, PRS, or a customer-focused hospitality role. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines. Excellent communication, both written and verbal, with a strong focus on customer care. IT savvy, confident using multiple systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). IRPM, ARLA or similar qualification (desirable). Knowledge of Qube, HubSpot, or Fixflo (desirable).
