About Us We are a growing waste management and recycling company operating a modern facility in Bristol with a large fleet of specialist plant and equipment. As our operations continue to expand, we are looking for a Plant Fitter / Mobile Hose Technician to join our team. This is a hands-on mechanical role supporting the maintenance and reliability of plant across our site. The Role You will assist with the maintenance, servicing, and repair of plant machinery, helping to keep equipment running safely and efficiently. Key duties include: Carrying out plant maintenance and servicing Diagnosing and repairing hydraulic hose failures Supporting preventative maintenance programmes Reporting plant defects and supporting repair scheduling Assisting with parts sourcing and ordering when required Responding to breakdowns to minimise downtime You will be working on a range of equipment including: Shredders Screens and sorting equipment Ballistic separators Air systems and compressors Other plant used within a busy recycling facility About You We are looking for someone with mechanical or plant maintenance experience, ideally from industries such as: Waste & recycling Construction plant Heavy industry Agricultural machinery HGV or mechanical maintenance You should: Have good mechanical fault-finding ability Be confident working with hydraulics or hose repairs Be practical, reliable, and safety focused Be able to work independently and manage workload Have a valid driving licence as travel between sites maybe required What We Offer Stable role within a growing company Monday - Friday working pattern Opportunity to work on a wide range of industrial plant Supportive team environment Training and development opportunities Overtime Opportunities Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year Work Location: In person
