Job Title Booking Co-ordinator & Resource Consultant Location UK Remote position Working Hours 8am-5pm Salary 28,000 - 40,000 - Dependant on experience Role Overview This role combines two key responsibilities : 1. Resource Consultant (Candidate Interviewing & Qualification) Support the onboarding pipeline for new candidates by conducting interviews, making high volumes of outbound calls, and qualifying candidates to identify best-fit individuals for live and upcoming requirements. 2. Booking Co-ordinator (Multi-Client Shift Coverage Across the UK) Cover and manage bookings by coordinating shifts for multiple clients nationwide , supporting the Booking Manager to ensure schedules are filled accurately, efficiently, and within required service levels. Key Responsibilities Resource Consultant Conduct telephone interviews with new candidates. Perform structured candidate qualification to determine suitability for specific roles. Make high volume calls to engage candidates and progress them through the pipeline. Maintain accurate candidate records and interview notes (CRM/spreadsheets). Update candidate statuses promptly (e.g., contacted, interviewed, qualified, rejected). Identify gaps in candidate availability and escalate where required. Ensure compliance with internal processes and data protection requirements. Booking Co-ordinator Coordinate and confirm shift bookings across multiple clients across the UK . Cover shifts as required and communicate confirmed bookings to candidates and stakeholders. Monitor live availability and proactively action changes (cancellations, reschedules, no-shows). Support the Booking Manager with planning, rota updates, and operational coordination. Ensure all scheduling information is accurate, timely, and consistent. Maintain booking logs and reporting as required. Required Skills & Experience Proven experience in customer service , recruitment coordination , resource resourcing , or high-volume calling roles. Strong telephone communication skills and confidence qualifying candidates. Excellent attention to detail for scheduling, shift coordination, and record keeping. Ability to handle multiple clients, priorities, and time-sensitive bookings. Comfortable working to KPIs such as response rates, candidate progression, and shift fill rates. Confident using CRM systems, spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets), and scheduling tools. Desirable Experience supporting recruitment cycles (screening, interviewing, shortlisting). Familiarity with workforce planning, rota management, or field-based booking operations. Knowledge of compliance considerations in hiring and candidate handling. Experience working with stakeholders across multiple regions in the UK. Personal Attributes Organised, proactive, and able to work independently. Resilient and professional under pressure (shift changes and time-sensitive scheduling). Personable and persuasive when speaking with candidates. Clear communicator with strong follow-up habits.
