ROADSIDE TECHNICIAN. Roadside Technician for Highfield Garage and Recovery Ltd, Exeter. Shifts - variable 24/7 365 days of the year. Immediate start, 60 hours per week. Vehicle Technician. Responsibilities Complete scheduled vehicle servicing in line with manufacturer guidelines Undertake diagnostic activities to identify causes and solutions for customer vehicle issues Conduct electronic visual health checks (eHVC) on all vehicles and provide a comprehensive report with expert advice and recommendations for customers Liaise directly with customers and service advisors, providing outstanding customer service Ensure vehicle servicing activities are completed in a safe and high quality manner, in line with both internal and manufacturer requirements Participate in ongoing training and development to ensure product and service knowledge is up to date. Required Skills and Experience You will need be a Level 3 qualified vehicle technician or time service with expierence with a full UK driving licence, ideally with manufacturer experience. In addition to your prior experience, you will be able to demonstrate the following skills: Excellent problem solving skills and strong attention to detail A strong customer service focus with the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience Outstanding organisation and time management skills with the ability to work to deadlines. Highfield Garage and Recovery Ltd are seeking to employ a motivated individual for the position of Night Recovery Driver at either of our Spreyton or Exeter depot's. The Role. The position is for a Night Recovery Driver which is a customer facing role and one which is vital in promoting our company's professional reputation. Candidates will be required to be confident, calm and presentable in their dealings with our customers. You will be responsible for the safe recovery and transportation of vehicles and any customers travelling with it, to the authorised destination. The Candidate. The candidate will hold an HGV Class 1 (C+E) driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points and a current CPC card. Previous experience of vehicle recovery while advantageous is not required as full training will be provided as will on going continued development. The candidate will be required for a twelve hour shift 19:00 - 07:00 on a five-day basis Thursday - Monday inclusive. In return we pay our driver for all twelve hours worked with no deduction for breaks taken. Included in the salary, the candidate will receive £10:00 per shift night time allowance and a £10:00 tax free meal allowance per shift.
