We pride ourselves on maintaining high standards of safety, efficiency, and reliability across our operations. The Role We are currently seeking a skilled HGV Mechanic to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the servicing, inspection, and repair of our fleet of heavy goods vehicles to ensure they are kept in excellent working order. Key Responsibilities: Carry out routine maintenance, inspections, and servicing on HGVs (including tippers, mixers, and block lorries). Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults efficiently. Ensure all vehicles meet current safety and compliance standards. Maintain accurate service and repair records. Work closely with the transport team to minimise downtime and ensure vehicles are roadworthy. Perform pre-MOT checks and prepare vehicles for testing. Requirements: Proven experience as an HGV Mechanic / Fitter (minimum 2 years preferred). Recognised qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent). Good knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems. Ability to work independently and as part of a small, dedicated team.
