Plant Oxford is the birthplace and heart of MINI production. Manufactured to individual customer specifications, hundreds of MINIs leave the plant s assembly lines each day, off to meet new owners in more than 110 countries around the world. Three UK plants have a part to play in MINI production Plant Hams Hall makes engines, Plant Swindon produces body pressings and sub-assemblies for MINI, and all this comes together at Plant Oxford with body shell production, paint and final assembly. MINI Plant Oxford - IT Service Delivery (Plant Infrastructure) 13-Month Placement (July 2026) Our IT Infrastructure department are responsible for the onsite infrastructure, covering the network, servers, telephone and all end devices (PCs, Printers, AV etc.). Throughout your placement you will be responsible for support, assistance and some end user training for our internal customers. You will have the opportunity to be involved in many exciting projects throughout the year. You will also participate in all areas of IT Infrastructure, as a learning experience. What awaits you? To be an active member of the infrastructure team. Working with and supporting all members of the team. Provide support and assistance to our internal customers. Responsible for the IT Intranet pages. knowledge in all areas of IT Infrastructure (Networking, Communications and Workplace (End Devices). To assist with raising purchase orders and liaise/coordinate Suppliers as required. What should you bring along? The candidate should be studying an IT, Business or Engineering related degree working towards a 2:2 or higher. The must have qualification in or demonstrated knowledge of project management and delivery. Knowledge of Agile methodologies would be advantageous. Previous exposure to a Manufacturing environment would be helpful. A valid driving licence acceptable in the UK is an advantage. Great Pay A competitive annual salary of £25,250, 26 days holiday per annum (pro rata to your contract) and an attractive pension scheme. Summit ONE in Farnborough is home to the National Sales Company for the BMW Group in the UK, as well as BMW Group Financial Services which offers retailers, corporate and private customers a range of customised financial services. Alphabet (GB) Ltd. as a leading provider of Business Mobility Services is also located in Farnborough. BMW UK, National Sales Centre, Farnborough Technical Service & Warranty Intern - 13 Month Placement (July 2026) The successful candidate will predominantly work within the Technical Campaigns team, providing support to all different areas within Aftersales, and also to our Retailer network. The position provides the opportunity to collaborate with all areas and gain a holistic understanding of the department and its role with the company. What awaits you? Analyse outstanding recall customer data to locate vehicles with incorrect registered keeper details and monitor completion rates of technical actions using BMW data tools. Assist with customer mailing templates and generate batches of letters for recalls and technical actions; administer TCN system for in-car and app messaging and compile campaign effectiveness reports. Develop and support a recall VIN lookup tool for technical actions; compile monthly recall and campaign completion rate reports. Publish bulletins and documents to Retailer HUB, BMW UK s information supply platform for the Retailer network; liaise with individual Retailers to improve completion rates of low-volume recalls. Communicate with other departments (Parts, Customer Services, Aftersales regional teams) and interact with regional teams to support Technical Campaigns and Special Processes. Monitor quality issues and trends by reviewing internet forums and social media; organize regional/team meetings and communicate minutes. Collaborate with NSC national workshop management to report recall and campaign completion at Corby and Upper Heyford off-site used-car centres and participate in the Technical Services Working Group Council. Qualifications and experience: Studying towards a bachelor's degree and on track to achieve at least a 2:2. Excellent knowledge of MS Office products, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Passion for the automotive industry and understanding of working in a premium brand environment. Excellent organisation / management and budget planning skills, with outstanding attention to detail. The ability to think creatively, analytically, and strategically. Why choose us?
