Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Refrigeration and A/C installation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in installing commercial refrigeration systems including Co2, mainly in the supermarket sector. They must be able to read and understand schematics, programmes and have experience in running larger refits or new sites, working with other engineers and trainee engineers on site and managing them. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our clients refrigeration systems, contributing to the overall success of our operations. Responsibilities Install refrigeration and A/C systems according to specifications Interpret schematics and technical drawings to facilitate installations. Lead projects related to the installation or upgrading of refrigeration systems. Collaborate with other engineering teams to develop innovative solutions for system improvements. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all engineering practices. Managing labour on site to maintain programmes. Requirements Proven experience as a Refrigeration and A/c installation Engineer. Strong mechanical knowledge with an emphasis on refrigeration systems. Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and technical documentation. Demonstrated ability in equipment repair and troubleshooting techniques. Leadership skills with the ability to manage projects effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Relevant qualifications or certifications in refrigeration engineering or related fields are preferred.
