Maintenance Manager Hilton House Care Home is a purpose-built 51 bed care facility located in the heart of Stoke-on-Trent. Created to provide the highest standards of comfort, safety, and personalised care, Hilton House supports residents with a variety of needs, including residential and dementia residential care. We are seeking to appoint a kind, organised and experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team. To ensure that the buildings, equipment and fixtures are maintained in good, safe working order, compliant with safety regulations and records updates. Responsible for the maintenance of the accommodation that it is in a constant clean and attractive condition. We have a 37.5 hours contract available with a competitive salary! Shift times are , Monday to Friday. Flexibility may be required to meet the needs of the business. Role Responsibilities: Carry out regular inspections throughout the Home, monitor and action plan any maintenance issues found. Report defects requiring specialist attention in a timely manner. Carry out domestic painting, decorating and wallpapering to a schedule defined by the Home Manager, and ensure bedrooms are of good standard for new admissions. Carry out minor joinery work and minor plumbing. Undertake regular inspections/room checks to identify any defects that need rectifying and enter into the maintenance log book to create a schedule for completion. To undertake and prioritize other tasks as required by the Management team. Ensure all compliance documents are up to date. Carry out Health and Safety and Fire Safety drills and training as required. Complete Legionella testing in liaison with consultants. Take responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of adults that the post holder is responsible for or comes into contact with. Skills and experience required: Experience in basic plumbing, electrical, joinery or gardening work is essential. Specialist skills in a building trade is preferable. Ability to use basic tools and operate equipment. Must have a full clean driving license.? Must be reliable and be able to communicate with residents and other members of staff. Head of Care Guiseley Manor Care Home is a purpose-built 72 care home facility and is situated in the town of Guiseley in the heart of west Yorkshire, Leeds. We are seeking to appoint a caring, motivated and experienced Head of Care to join our team, to oversee our Residential Communities and Team Leaders / Senior Care Assistants and report directly to our Home Manager and Deputy Home Manager. We currently have available a full time contract on days but the post holder may be required to cover absence, and complete night audit visits.?You will support the Home Manager and Deputy Home Manager in providing leadership to the care team and effective 24-hour management of the home within the available resources. Coordinate the activities of all care and nursing staff during the shift on the Community. Dispense medication as per Medication Policy. Deal with emergency situations in relation to the building, residents, staff or other services within the Home as they arise during each shift. Ensure the safety of the building during each shift.
