Job Overview We are seeking skilled CNC Lathe Setter/Operators to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience operating CNC lathes, preferably within an Aerospace environment. This role involves precision machining of components, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards. Responsibilities Set & operate CNC lathes to produce high-quality components according to technical drawings and specifications. Set up and adjust machines, including loading materials and selecting appropriate tools. Monitor machine operations, making adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards. Conduct routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production. Collaborate with team members to improve production efficiency and implement best practices in machining processes. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times. Experience Proven experience setting & operating CNC lathes in a manufacturing environment is essential. Strong mechanical knowledge, including the ability to read technical drawings and data sheets Previous experience in an AS9100 certified company would be advantageous. Previous experience on Citizen Miyano, Cincinatti Lamb, Hawk & Falcons, Doosan Lynx machinery would be advantageous Hours of work - 38hrs per week - Mon Thurs 7 30 (30mins lunch) Fri - 7 30 Pay - subject to experience - 25K 38K per annum If you have a passion for precision engineering and are looking to further your career as a CNC Lathe Operator, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
