Major IT have partnered with a global player in the FMCG and Food Manufacturing business. As a business, my client operates across 8 national UK sites covering international food production and supply chain management into 17 countries worldwide. This is a brand new role to bring inhouse a fully functional IT specialist team to support my clients 3 core sites in Glasgow, Scunthorpe and Burton. The ideal person will come from a similar IT technical environment, ideally with some commercial troubleshooting of 1st or 2nd line level enquiries, with working knowledge of O365, Windows 10 including servers 2016/19 and firewall security exposure. You will have a proven ability to problem solve and work effectively with the internals teams including close collaboration with the IT manager based at the Burton office. This is an opportunity to gain wider experience working with core networking systems including routers, switches, WiFi backups and VOIP systems. Additional to this, you will support the technical estate from desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, touchscreens and internal telephone systems. My client operates a JIRA system to manage the service desk tickets and to ensure requests are responded to within agreed SLA s. It would also be great to hear from anyone that has core networking exposure of CISCO and DNS / DHCP knowledge. Full-stack Developer (Mid to Senior Level) Chesterfield / Hybrid Major IT & Digital are delighted to be working with one of UK s leading IT consultancy operating across a well-established UK client base. The company has seen rapid growth within the last 4 years, coupled with 25 years specialist industry knowledge within the telecoms and managed services arena. As a result of significant company growth and expansion of the development team, I have immediate requirements for a mid-level C# .NET developer. This is an exciting new role for someone to bring a depth of knowledge and experience with the autonomy to design and create new products and software systems for a niche client base. The ideal developer will encompass a strong background in C# .NET development using WinForms and Web Forms. This also includes frontend React / React-Native and backend Node.JS skills, preferably with mobile development knowledge using Objective C or Swift. As a seasoned developer, you will have gained some key skills over the last 5 years. Typically, a full-stack developer with strong UX / UI design and SQL development skills, with experience of working in a Unix/Linux based environment. Whilst not essential, it would be useful to have working knowledge of automation testing tools and frameworks including some DevOps exposure. My clients operates the software development arm of the business from a Chesterfield location. As part of continued expansion within the software development team my client has immediate requirements for an experienced C# .NET (v.10) Developer with strong React (v.19) skills to support the development of new features, new applications and API integrations. This is a brand new role with exciting opportunity to join a well-established development team. The ideal candidate with bring a wide toolset of coding projects with least 5 years commercial experience in developing .NET applications with a strong focus on React based development features. Due to the nature of the work involved you will be required to attend the Chesterfield office at least 2 days per week with Wednesday becoming a set day for all staff to work in the office.
