Class 1 - C+E or wagon and drag- Hiab Driver- Entitlement driver is needed for a Hull based haulier, that operates all over the UK. Summary The company specialises in the movement of wide abnormal loads :including portable buildings such as cabins, containers, modular structures, housing , static homes, lodges. The operations office runs from North Ferriby, with various parking places around the UK. Permanent position available. This job will entail nights out, some weekend working and plenty of overtime. You must have a Class 1 C+E or wagon and drag - Entitlement driving license, Digi tacho card and have your driver CPC. Hiab ( Lorry Loader) experience would be preferential. ( ALLMI or CPCS) Abnormal load experience is preferred but not necessary as training will/can be given. Fleet Modern Fleet of Euro 6 vehicles Large fleet of owned trailers Owned fleet of escort vehicles supported by sub-contract escort vehicles Trucks can be based out of various locations to suit Work Mainly specialist abnormal load work Carriage of Modular Buildings Collection and deliveries of loads from sites and factories throughout the UK Typically 3 -4 nights out per week Sole use of vehicles almost always (no cab hopping) Loading and Offloading of Modular Buildings using Hiab ( Lorry loader) vehicle Pay Full time, guaranteed 40 hours per week Holidays 28 days per year including bank holidays Overtime rate after 40 hours (large amount available) Paid Breaks Higher over time rate for all weekend working Tax free nights out Monthly telephone allowance Regular driver CPC training Job Type: Full-time Pay: £31,928.00-£42,848.00 per year Benefits: Company pension On-site parking Experience: Driving: 2 years (preferred) Hiab ( Lorry loading): 1 year (preferred) Licence/Certification: Driver CPC (required) Work Location: In person
