Job Overview We are seeking a Senior Service Engineer to join our dynamic team at MED Equus Ltd. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional repair & maintenance services as well as technical support for our products. The Senior Service Engineer will manage and train other Service Engineers in our workshop. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of our service team. The Senior Service Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and efficient repair & services for MED Equus Ltd's product line. Job Perks Base gross salary from £40,000 to £45,000 - dependent on experience and qualifications. Company pick-up truck as a benefit-in-kind. Annual Bonus - share of the team's performance-related bonus once per annum. Salary Review - performance-related salary review once per annum. Pension - 5% employer pension contributions. Duties Conduct repairs and routine maintenance on all equipment and systems provided by MED Equus Ltd. 3D printing, CAD, CAM and R&D projects for helping us to improve our equipment. We continually strive to have the highest quality equipment and support within our industry - we value our Service Engineers input to stay ahead of the competition. Troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions for our equipment. Install new equipment at client's premises - ensuring proper functionality upon completion. Produce and maintain Standard Operating Procedures. Maintain accurate records of service activities via documentation. Including reports on repairs, and installations. Collaborate with other Service Engineers, our logistics department, and other required departments as necessary to ensure efficient delivery processes for equipment and our services. Follow and manage daily workload plans for the Service Team. CPD training with our suppliers - this may include international travel for training. Ongoing in-house training consistent with MED Equus Ltd's policies & guidelines. Adherence to the Health & Safety rules at our premises. Qualifications An Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering qualification is required. Previous experience in a similar role within the mechanical and/or electrical engineering industry is required. Strong technical knowledge of mechanical & electrical engineering is required. Previous experience managing and training other team members on mechanical and electrical engineering products is essential. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail for technical repairs and maintenance. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team environment. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and colleagues. A valid driver's licence is advantageous for travel to client sites.
