About the Role You will deliver engagement and communications activity across key digital and cyber capability programmes, working closely with cross-government communities. The role involves creating and coordinating impactful content, events and engagement initiatives that drive collaboration and support major capability improvements across government. What You'll Do Deliver high-impact engagement initiatives including content, social media, press activity, events and audience analysis. Support the Cyber Capability Delivery Manager in engaging cross-government cyber communities and progressing key objectives. Build connections across departments, gathering insights and strengthening collaboration. Plan, organise and promote a calendar of virtual, in-person, regional and London-based events and meetings. Enhance cross-government engagement and support workforce capability strategies. Manage diverse stakeholder groups with competing priorities. Simplify complex, fast-moving information and communicate clearly with stakeholders. Proactively identify risks, raise concerns and support issue resolution in a fast-paced environment. Who You Are You will bring: Experience working in central government (essential). A background in communications and engagement (essential). Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to tailor content for different audiences. Significant experience building and maintaining effective stakeholder relationships. UCD Service Designer - Central Government Location: Remote (Occasional travel to Telford) Clearance: BPSS Contract: 6-month rolling IR35: Inside IR35 Experience: Must have Central Government experience Overview We are seeking an experienced UCD Service Designer to support a major Central Government digital transformation programme. This role focuses exclusively on user-centred service design , not Service Management or ITIL. You will work within a multidisciplinary delivery team to design intuitive, accessible and user-focused services that meet GDS standards. The role is predominantly remote, with occasional travel required to Telford for workshops or key meetings. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end user-centred service design activities. Collaborate with user researchers, product managers, interaction designers and technical teams. Map complex service journeys and identify opportunities for improvement. Create service blueprints, journey maps, prototypes and other UCD artefacts. Facilitate workshops, co-design sessions and stakeholder discussions. Support continuous improvement across services and workflows. Essential Skills & Experience Strong background as a User-Centred Design (UCD) Service Designer . Lead Technical Architect (Hands-On) - SC Cleared Location: Manchester (Hybrid - 2 days per week onsite) Contract Length: 6 months Rate: £750 per day IR35 Status: Inside IR35 Clearance: Active SC Clearance required Must have worked in central government Overview We are seeking a Lead Technical Architect with a strong hands on development background to join a major public sector digital programme. This is a technical leadership role for someone who actively writes code and leads by example, rather than operating at an enterprise or purely strategic level. You will work across multiple agile delivery teams to design, build, and operate internal platforms and tooling used by software engineers. This role is ideal for a hands on Lead Technical Architect who still loves to code, has deep AWS serverless expertise, and enjoys building platforms that enable other engineers to succeed. This is not a strategic or enterprise architecture role practical delivery experience is essential.
