Hardware Deployment Engineer - £155 Per Day - Liverpool/St Helens - 6 months - Immediate Start We're seeking an experienced Hardware Deployment Engineer to support the rollout and installation of new IT hardware across multiple sites. This is a hands-on role that requires excellent communication skills and the ability to deliver efficiently in a busy environment. Key Responsibilities Deploy and install new IT hardware including desktops, laptops, monitors, phones, and peripherals. Decommission and safely dispose of old equipment in line with data protection and sustainability standards. Image, configure, and test devices to meet organisational requirements. Work with site leads and end users to plan and deliver deployments with minimal disruption to daily operations. Ensure devices are fully configured, connected, and updated prior to handover. Provide on-site technical support during and after installation. Maintain accurate asset tracking and documentation within inventory management systems. Follow standard operating procedures and contribute to process improvements. Escalate technical or logistical issues as appropriate. Adhere to all relevant information security, health and safety, and site policies. Essential Skills & Experience Proven experience in IT hardware deployment or desktop support within a large organisation. Strong understanding of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and basic networking. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a wider deployment team across multiple sites. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required.
