Barista - Halifax Town Centre Full Time or Part Time available - 25-30hours per week over 4/5 shifts inclusive of Saturdays Pay - £12.50 hour We're looking for a warm, smiley and enthusiastic Full time or part time Barista to join our Jamocha family. Jamocha is a family run speciality coffee lounge bringing delicious drinks and food to the public. You'll be at the heart of our Jamocha experience, interacting with customers and creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Here are some of the things you'll do: - Make and serve speciality coffee and tea (latte art experience a huge plus point - but we can train) - Process and prepare food at the beginning of every shift. - Prepare hot and cold sandwiches and brunch dishes. - Arrange and restock display counters with cold drinks and pre-packed food. - Speak and interact with both new and regular customers. - Deal with customer queries, requests and problems. Take payments and operate the till. - Keep things lovely, clean, tidy and sanitised. - Follow health and safety and food hygiene guidelines. (level 2 food hygiene required, or we can get this training for you) Who we are looking for? We're looking for someone who not only serves a great cup of coffee, but who gets a real buzz from delivering excellent customer service. You'll be warm, friendly, passionate about food and drink and happy to muck in to get the job done - Team Effort! You'll ideally have Barista experience, be a great time keeper, like to keep things ship shape and always be happy to help both colleagues and customers.
