Assistant Quantity Surveyor Preston Full-time/ Permanent Our clients are a well established consultancy who are enjoying a strong period of growth in the North-West, creating the opportunity for an Assistant QS to join the team working from the Preston office with hybrid working options. Suitable applicants will have experience at Trainee or Assistant QS level, preferably with a consultancy however we can consider contractor experience also. Previous experience of working on commercial & real estate projects is preferred. If you have experience of employers agent/ contract administration duties then this would be a big plus! Main Duties and Responsibilities Support cost management team with a full range of duties. Help to ensure that client objectives are met and that projects are delivered to time and cost targets, and the appropriate quality standards; Assisting in the reparation of interim valuations, contract instructions and final accounts; Employer's Agent / Contract Administrator services including issuing of appropriate project certification/ supporting senior costing team with documentation. Bid Manager - Bristol office Full-time/ Permanent, £50-70k salary + Car allowance + Benefits Our clients are a leading main contractor delivering commercial fit-out/ refurbishment projects, and are now growing their commercial team in Bristol in line with a strong pipeline of projects. Suitable applicants will have prior experience in Bid management within commercial build projects, preferably the fit-out/ refurbishment sector. Experience working for a main contractor is preferred, read on for more information! Suitable candidate will have: Bid management & coordination, leading the end-to-end bidding process to win new work across private and public clients. Bringing together commercial, technical and operational input into compelling, compliant submissions Strong experience of Business development, capable of identifying and pursuing new business opportunities that support our continuous growth. Experienced in managing multi-stage tenders, from conception through to submission, clarification and interview. Excellent project management understanding, capable of working collaboratively across our internal (and sometimes external) teams, leading bid/ no-bid meetings with senior stakeholders. Capable of analysing win/loss outcomes, win rates by sector and client, whilst then utilising this information to strategise going forward. Collaborate with various stakeholders, commercial teams, clients and all external parties. Ensuring regular reviews and updates take place pre and post project, with an oversight on project delivery being to specification and meeting expectations.
