Conducts electrical inspections by comparing electrical constructions and installations to plan requirements to ensure compliance with applicable codes and ordinances. Conducts gas inspections by checking for gas leaks, vent lines are properly installed, and calculates BTUs of gas piping system to ensure compliance with applicable codes and ordinances. Conducts general inspection activities for contractors by checking for valid permits, ensuring plans comply to relevant codes, and issuance of Certificates of Occupancy in accordance with professional inspections procedures so construction projects are compliant with codes. Conducts inspections related to life safety, handicap accessibility, and natural disasters by following professional inspections protocols and guidelines to ensure compliance with applicable codes and ordinances. Reviews plans by comparing details of plans to code requirements to ensure compliance with applicable codes and ordinances. Conducts plumbing inspections by comparing aspects of construction to code requirements to ensure compliance with applicable codes and ordinances.
