The Company: Our client a leading fashion brand are looking for a Merchandiser/Senior Merchandiser to join their Retail Marketplace merchandising team. 12 months Maternity Cover HYBRID WORKING 2 DAYS FROM HOME The Role: Responsible for delivering strong commercial results through strategic planning, trading insight and team leadership. Budget management, inventory management, and ensuring a seamless integration between buying, planning, and marketing teams. Advanced merchandising expertise, strong leadership capabilities, and a strategic mindset focused on profitability and sustainable growth. Lead the seasonal trading strategy, ensuring sales, margin and stock targets are achieved. Own WSSI, forecasting and budgeting across your department. Analyse weekly performance to identify trends, risks and opportunities, delivering clear recommendations. Oversee allocation, replenishment and stock flow across all sales channels. Manage relationships with key marketplace contacts. Partner with Buying on range building, price architecture and product lifecycle management. Drive markdown and promotional strategy with a focus on margin optimisation. Produce effective trading reports and present insights to senior leadership. Lead, coach and develop a team of Retail Assistant Merchandisers . Skills Required: Strong experience in a merchandising role with a focus on trading Proven success improving margin and profit Excellent analytical and numerical ability; confident with WSSI, forecasting and advanced Excel. The Company: An experienced Wholesale Merchandiser is needed to join an established supplier of fashion to various UK high street retailers. The Role: Working closely with the design, sales and technical team on a daily basis. Reporting on factory performance and order status. Chasing PO's from the customers. Ensuring customer order programs are maintained thoroughly and efficiently. Managing all critical paths both factory and customer. Liaising with clients regarding sample development/approval. Liaising with clients and factories over all stages of production. Chase bulk fabric from mill, and chasing test reports. Chasing samples and ordering labels. Dealing with any production issues from the factory. Managing delivery bookings. Sign off fabric cards for accounts purpose to consolidate what has been ordered against delivered. Shipments - uploading packing lists for customers and arrange deliveries. Skills Required: Production merchandising knowledge. Experience of short lead time manufacturing. Experience gained within a clothing supplier working within a fastpaced environment is needed. Organised and accurate with the proven ability to work under pressure. Key team player with the ability to also work unsupervised. Minimum of 3 years relevant merchandising experience.
