Humly are working with a Nursery attached to a school who are looking for an Early Years Teacher to work with them on an ongoing basis. The role would be to start ASAP, Monday to Friday 9-3:30 until the end of the academic year, it may continue for the correct person. Motivate and stimulate children in their learning Provide pastoral care and support to children within a secure learning environment Aid the development of a child's personal, social, language and physical coordination abilities Develop and produce visual aids and teaching resources encourage mathematical and creative development through stories, songs, games, drawing and imaginative play Help children develop curiosity and knowledge Work with others, including teaching assistants and nursery nurses as well as volunteer helpers, to plan and coordinate work both indoors and outdoors Share knowledge gained with other practitioners and build and maintain relationships with parents Observe, assess and record each child's progress Ensure the health and safety of children and staff is maintained during all activities, both inside and outside the setting Attend staff meetings and staff training days Keep up to date with changes in the curriculum and developments in best practice. Humly are working with a Nursery in Newcastle (NE3 postcode) who are looking for a Nursery Nurse to work with them 4 days per week on an ongoing basis. The role would be to support children 0-5 Years, 4 days per week 8-5 or 9-6, see skills and attributes below: Encouraging young children to enjoy learning about their environment through fun games and activities Encouraging the development of social awareness through interactions with other children Preparing exciting lessons that make use of visual prompts, audio and colour Teaching children basic learning tools, such as recognising the alphabet or naming everyday objects Ensuring that children are collected each day by their designated parents, relatives or carers Ensuring that classrooms and outside play areas are child-friendly and safe Keeping up to date with early years learning developments, including new activities to try in classes or new styles of teaching Notifying parents of positive progress and suggesting ways to overcome early development problems If you are interested please do get in touch!
