One of our clients, a global leader within their industry, is looking for an E&I Technician to join their operations in maintaining and repairing complex machinery in an industrial setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work or a multi-skill engineer with Electrical bias experience. Our client is hiring for two positions, hence the broad salary range given. Duties Install, maintain, and repair valves, probes, sensors and other such instruments in industrial environments Troubleshoot instrumentation issues using appropriate testing devices Read and interpret electrical blueprints and technical diagrams Perform preventative maintenance on systems to ensure efficiency and safety Fault finding in valves, sensors, mass flow meters Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently and according to HSE standards Experience Proven experience as an Instrumentation Technician, 18th Edition Knowledge of electrical systems and components Experience in Hazardous environments, Atex, Compex, Comah a big plus Proficient in using power tools and hand tools for electrical work Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
