We have an exciting opportunity, which doesn t come around often, for a Spray Operator/Combine Driver to join our small team in Oxfordshire! Requirements You will be the lead spray operator and combine driver specifically a CLAAS 8700 Lexion and Horsch trailed on a Fendt 728 Responsibility of maintaining vehicles, machinery, and equipment to a high standard. Responsible for stock management including fertilisers etc. Managing the infield operation of the harvesting team and coordinating tractors and trailers. Liaising with our company Agronomists and Farm Manager to understand spraying requirements. Ensuring that records are kept up to date and accurate through our state-of-the-art ag system XFarm Working safely within our onsite workshop. Undertaking other general farm work activities as required. The Opportunity Our client, a long-established main dealer for premium groundscare and turf machinery, is seeking a hardworking, reliable and experienced Golf Course Machinery Engineer to join their Cornwall depot. This is a varied, hands-on role offering exposure to a wide range of equipment both in workshop and on-site at some of the South West's best-known golf clubs and estates. Key Responsibilities • Perform diagnostics, service and repairs on golf course and groundscare machinery, in-house and on site. • Carry out pre-delivery set-up on new and used equipment. • Complete job-related administration and reporting (job cards, DTAC, timesheets). • Maintain a tidy, organised and safe workstation. • Carry out vehicle and machinery diagnostics competently. • Follow company health & safety procedures at all times. • Undertake ongoing manufacturer and product training. • Mentor and support apprentices within the workshop team. Skills & Experience • Proven experience as a machinery / groundscare / agricultural engineer. • Familiarity with John Deere, Stihl and competitive product ranges is advantageous. • Confident IT user, comfortable with diagnostic software and reporting tools. • Strong customer service skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Full UK driving licence.
