Principal AI Data Engineer Certain Advantage is hiring for a Principal AI Data Engineer based in London. This role is an initial contract until the end of the year and is hybrid, requiring 3 days per week onsite in London. You'll be responsible for: Developing AI, GenAI and Agentic AI prototypes using Azure AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, Databricks Mosaic AI and MLflow. Building, optimising and evaluating Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions using prompt engineering and embedding models. Designing and deploying AI agents using frameworks including LangChain, LangGraph and AutoGen. Delivering production-ready GenAI applications for commercial teams within Trading & Supply. Building scalable AI workflows on Databricks using Mosaic AI, MLflow, Genie and AgentBricks. Applying DevOps best practices through CI/CD pipelines, GitHub workflows and automated testing. Designing evaluation frameworks to benchmark, test and improve GenAI system performance and reliability. The Individual Strong expertise with Databricks, including Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, DLT and MLflow. Deep knowledge of Large Language Models including GPT, Llama, Claude and Mistral. Experience building and deploying GenAI, RAG and Agentic AI solutions in enterprise environments. Strong programming skills in Python, SQL and/or Scala. Experience with Azure cloud technologies including Azure OpenAI and Azure AI Foundry. Knowledge of Spark Structured Streaming, Autoloader and modern data engineering practices. Experience with ETL/ELT, data modelling and scalable data architectures. Familiarity with Azure Data Factory, Qlik Replicate and data ingestion pipelines. Does this sound like your next career move? World Class Defence Organisation based in Stevenage is currently looking to recruit a Manufacturing Controller (Lineside Controller / Inventory Controller) subcontractor on an initial 12 month contract. The department are looking for experience in either Manufacturing control or inventory control within a manufacturing environment. Hourly Rate: 26.70 per hour. Overtime Rate: Hours worked over 37 hours per week, are worked at the Overtime rate of time and a quarter. Contract Duration: 12 Months (initially and then ongoing and long-term thereafter) Manufacturing Controller Job Description: The Manufacturing Controller role will involve issue, receipt and management of stores and inventory in a stores environment. Loading, control and monitoring of work packages in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities: Stock control / storekeeping including shelf life control. Loading the manufacturing cells with the requisite jobs in accordance with planned lead and cycle times, in order to comply with manufacturing programmes and delivery schedules. Packing including the use of hand tools. Receiving and issuing of tooling. Updating computer records. Kitting activity. Loading and unloading of Lorries. Skillset/experience required: Experience in a stores environment or manufacturing control. Follow instructions. Willing to work flexible shift patterns. Attention to detail. Work on own with minimal supervision. Use own initiative. Manual handling training. Lifting & Slinging training (Including overhead cranes). ESD training. Desirable skills: PC skills, including EXCEL. Fork lift truck licence. Knowledge of Kanban and 2 bin systems. Experience with an Enterprise Planning System e.g. SAP.
