Optometrist Milton Keynes, United Kingdom Posted on 04/16/2026 Optometrist - Full Time Location: Milton Keynes Salary: Up to £70,000 per annum The Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Optometrist to join a highly experienced clinical team in a modern Milton Keynes clinic. You will work alongside ophthalmologists and other eye care professionals, contributing to the delivery of high-quality clinical services across a diverse patient base. Responsibilities This role offers a varied clinical workload, including: Pre- and post-operative consultations for refractive and cataract surgery patients Providing clinical support to ophthalmologists Conducting essential and advanced eye examinations What's on Offer Competitive salary up to £70,000 Performance-related bonus scheme 33 days annual leave (increasing with service) Indemnity cover Independent prescribing sponsorship/support Access to CPD/CET training Employee discounts (including optical treatments) Working Pattern Flexible working options available, including full-time and part-time roles, as well as condensed hours to support work-life balance. Relocation support may be considered. Training & Development Comprehensive training in refractive and cataract care will be provided. Requirements Fully qualified Optometrist registered with the General Optical Council (GOC) Ability to provide high-quality clinical care and patient-focused service Strong communication and interpersonal skills Interest in or willingness to develop within refractive and cataract services Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary clinical team Commitment to continuous professional development Desirable (but not essential) Independent Prescribing qualification (or willingness to undertake) Previous experience in post-operative care or hospital/clinical settings Experience working with advanced diagnostic equipment
