A very reputable and operationally focused business is looking for a Financial Controller to take ownership of the full finance cycle and bring structure, pace and clarity to a busy environment. This is a key hire, responsible for stabilising and modernising the finance function while acting as a trusted partner to the Finance Director. This is a hands on leadership role where you will support the Finance Director & wider SLT. Role: Finance Director Sector: Retail / Product Driven Businesses Needed: ASAP Package: £90,000 to £115,000 3 Point Recruitment are exclusively partnered with a rapidly growing and highly ambitious Retail business with it's Finance department based ideally within Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham. This is a very ambitious business with massive potential - a great opportunity for an FD to come in, work closely with the MD & really make their mark! We are seeking to appoint a commercially focused Finance Director to support the next phase of growth within the business. With a current turnover of approximately £35m and a growing multi site footprint, the business is entering a sustained period of expansion, including new store openings and ongoing strategic development. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance leader to join a dynamic and growing retail business, where you will play a critical role in both strategic direction and operational delivery. This is a pivotal leadership role, working closely with the Managing Director and Senior Leadership Team to drive financial performance, support decision making and ensure robust financial control. The successful candidate will bring both strategic insight and hands on capability, helping to shape and deliver the company's growth plans while maintaining operational excellence across the finance function. Key Requirements Demonstrable experience within the Retail Sector / Product driven environments Proven track record operating in a multi site business with responsibility across multiple locations Experience working in organisations with turnover of £35m+ Strong systems experience including proficiency in Sage Commercially astute, with the ability to partner closely with senior leadership to influence business decisions Expertise in managing cash flow, stock and margin within a retail / product driven environment Strong financial planning and analysis capability, including budgeting, forecasting and performance tracking Ability to balance strategic oversight with hands on delivery where required Experience supporting business growth initiatives such as new site openings or expansion projects Demonstrated leadership experience, including building, managing and developing finance teams High level of attention to detail alongside the ability to operate at pace in a dynamic environment Strong communication skills, with the confidence to challenge and support stakeholders across the business Package A basic salary of circa £90k £6k car allowance 10-20% bonus Hybrid working available following initial onboarding period
