Job Purpose As part of the role you will be required to undertake scheduled Planned Maintenance (PPM's) and reactive repairs across a number of NHS healthcare sites. The contract covers a number of healthcare properties in a patch between Bristol, Salisbury and Swindon and the role will involve; Reactive maintenance and repairs such as power and lighting faults Planned preventative maintenance (PPM's) such as emergency lighting and fire alarm testing. Maintain and repair electrical systems and associated plant. Respond to breakdowns, fault-find and complete minor and small installations. You will also support with other general building fabric repairs There will also be the requirement to participate in the call-out rota to provide out-of-hours support. Job Purpose Working in a mobile role, as Maintenance Operative, you will be responsible for maintaining a number of hospital/healthcare sites between Swindon and Salisbury. You will work as part of a highly skilled maintenance team and you will have the opportunity to be involved in many aspects of reactive works and planned preventative maintenance (PPM's). Key Responsibilities Include; Reactive maintenance and weekly/monthly PPM's such as emergency lighting, water temperature temps, fire alarm testing Repair and maintenance work could include repairing doors and frames, changing taps, washers, TMV servicing/replacement, installing and repairing cabinets and wall based units, replacing pipework, skirting and boxing, sentinel checks, lamp changes, replacing locks and other repairs to the fabric of the building. There will also be some planned maintenance activities such as planned upgrade works and refurbishment as part of our ongoing efforts to ensure a safe environment for service users. Use the provided handheld PDA to receive jobs, complete risk assessments, and close jobs in real time. Job Purpose We now have an exciting opportunity for experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Operative to join our NHS Maintenance team, which delivers a first-class repairs service in partnership with NHS Trusts. You will join our repairs team based at the Bracton Centre in Dartford, Kent to provide reactive, planned and preventative maintenance for our NHS Clients. As part of this role, you will work in a 'multi-trade' role providing repairs on a reactive basis with a particular emphasis on general maintenance works to include plumbing works such as changing taps and washers, replacing door handles and locks, and some general wear and tear maintenance (filling of holes/retouching, light plastering). In addition to reactive repairs, there will also be some planned maintenance activities such emergency light testing and water temperature checks, along with planned upgrade works and refurbishment as part of our ongoing efforts to ensure a safe environment for service users. We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Lead Maintenance Operative with an electrical bias to join our our highly regarded repairs and maintenance team in Essex. This position will provide you with the opportunity to take on some supervisory duties, whilst still maintaining an active role within your trade. This is a mobile role where you will be maintaining 4 healthcare sites in Walthamstow, Ilford and Hainault. We currently provide maintenance services to over 300 buildings for 20 Trusts across the UK. Job Purpose As Lead Maintenance Operative / Site Supervisor you will be split 50/50 between hands on and supervising the sites. There are 4 sites in total located in Ilford, Walthamstow and Hainault in Essex/East London. You'll be responsible for performing daily maintenance duties as part of our PPM (planned and preventative) and reactive maintenance programme. Work will be across a variety of trades but will be tailored to skill set and will involve electrical/mechanical repairs, isolation/make safe, plumbing through to other building fabric maintenance. The other aspect of this role will involve arranging planned maintenance visits and site inductions with Subcontractors, ensuring health and safety compliance, maintaining site documentation and that records are up to date and carrying out inspections to ensure works are carried out satisfactorily. The ideal candidate will come from a multi skilled electrical background. You will either be in a supervisor role or an experienced maintenance operative looking to develop.
