At Beagle Aircraft, we're a leading aerospace manufacturer producing precision-engineered components for some of the world's leading aerospace programmes. We're investing in the future of our manufacturing operations through the implementation of MRP within our ERP platform, and we're looking for an experienced SQL Developer with a manufacturing ERP/MRP background to play a key role in this business-critical project. Please note this is a 4-month Fixed Term Contract. What We're Looking For This is not primarily a Data Warehousing, BI or reporting role. We're looking for someone with hands-on Microsoft SQL Server development and/or database administration experience, combined with experience working with ERP or MRP systems within manufacturing, engineering or aerospace. You'll need to understand manufacturing data such as BOMs, routings, inventory, production orders and MRP. A relevant Microsoft SQL certification is highly desirable, while previous experience with SYSPRO ERP would be a significant advantage. Due to the short-term and project-critical nature of the contract, we're looking for someone who can hit the ground running and make an immediate impact. Working closely with Planning, Procurement, Engineering and Operations, you'll develop and administer SQL solutions, support data migration and reconciliation, troubleshoot database and data-integrity issues and ensure manufacturing data is accurate and ready for go-live. This is a hands-on technical position combining SQL development, database administration and manufacturing ERP/MRP data. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain and support Microsoft SQL Server databases, including T-SQL scripts, queries and database solutions Perform SQL Server administration, including backup, restore and troubleshooting Support ERP data migration, cleansing, validation, reconciliation and master data activities Investigate and resolve SQL, database and data-integrity issues Work with manufacturing data including BOMs, routings, inventory, production orders and MRP Support ERP testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and MRP validation Produce technical documentation, change logs and project records Work closely with Planning, Procurement, Engineering and Operations throughout implementation About You You'll have strong commercial experience with Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL, including hands-on SQL development and/or database administration. You'll also need experience working with ERP/MRP systems within a manufacturing, engineering or aerospace environment, ideally supporting an ERP implementation, MRP project or significant business-system change. You'll understand manufacturing master data including BOMs, routings, inventory and production orders, with experience of data migration, validation and reconciliation. Strong SQL troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills will be essential. Highly desirable experience includes Microsoft SQL certification, SYSPRO ERP, previous MRP implementation experience, aerospace or precision manufacturing, and Power BI/reporting. Beagle Aircraft is looking for a CNC Machine Shop Supervisor to lead the day-to-day performance of our Machine Shop in Christchurch. This is a visible, hands-on leadership position where you ll guide an experienced machining team, set production priorities and help improve safety, quality, delivery and machining efficiency. Knowledge of 3, 4 and 5-axis machining, including milling and/or turning. Experience leading, supervising or coordinating people within a manufacturing environment. The ability to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications. Strong manufacturing problem-solving and continuous improvement capability. A practical understanding of 5S, Kaizen or other Lean Manufacturing principles.
