Conveyancing Solicitor We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Residential Conveyancing Solicitor with approximately 5 years Post-Qualified Experience (PQE) to join our busy property department. The successful candidate will manage a full caseload of residential property transactions from instruction through to completion, delivering high-quality legal services and maintaining excellent client care standards. You will play a key role within the team, supporting junior staff where appropriate, contributing to departmental growth, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and professional obligations. Responsibilities: Manage a full caseload of residential conveyancing matters including: Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases Re-mortgages Transfers of equity New build transactions Shared ownership matters (if applicable) Handle files from instruction through to post-completion independently Conduct all necessary legal due diligence, including title checks and searches Draft and review contracts, transfer deeds, and supporting documentation Liaise effectively with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors Provide clear, timely, and commercially sound legal advice Ensure compliance with AML regulations, SRA Code of Conduct, and firm policies Meet individual and departmental billing targets Maintain accurate time recording and file management Support and supervise junior fee earners or paralegals where required Contribute to process improvements and efficiency within the department Key Skills: Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with approximately 5 years PQE in residential conveyancing Proven ability to run a busy, high-volume caseload independently Strong technical knowledge of residential property law and procedures Excellent client care and communication skills
