The studio specialises in residential development projects for both national housebuilders and regional developers across the UK, delivering detailed technical packages across a broad range of residential schemes. Due to continued growth and an increasing pipeline of work, they are now looking to recruit an experienced Senior Architectural Technician to join their expanding technical team. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong Architectural Technician with solid UK residential experience to take on a senior role within a collaborative and fast-paced practice. You will be involved in the technical delivery and coordination of residential projects, producing detailed working drawing packages and ensuring compliance with current UK Building Regulations and technical standards. Responsibilities: Producing detailed residential working drawing packages and construction information Coordinating and reviewing consultant and third-party technical drawings Ensuring projects comply with current UK Building Regulations and technical requirements Liaising with clients, consultants and internal project teams Managing multiple projects and working to deadlines Attending meetings and site visits where required Key Requirements: Experience working in a similar UK-based role Strong experience working on UK residential developer housing projects Excellent understanding of current UK Building Regulations Proficiency in AutoCAD essential; Revit experience beneficial Strong technical detailing and coordination skills Ability to manage workload effectively within a busy team environment Relevant qualification in Architectural Technology or a related field This is a full-time position within a centrally located Southampton practice, conveniently situated within walking distance of Southampton railway station and the main bus hub. Hybrid working is available following an initial office-based induction period, along with flexible working patterns to accommodate individual circumstances.
