Responsible for providing HR advice to Managers across a range of HR issues and the wider organisation in providing support to the Corporate HR Lead and HR Business Partners. Responsible for the delivery of HR specific projects and the provision of accurate people data across the Housing service. Core accountabilities: 1. Provide recruitment support to managers for example assisting with the development of job descriptions and adverts, liaison with the recruitment advertising agency and recruitment coordinators, being part of interview panels where required and liaison with employment agencies where necessary. 2. Support the HR Manager and HR Business Partners with sickness absence and employee relations casework, including obtaining medical reports and undertaking investigations, where required. 3. Support the HR Manager, HR Business Partners and managers with any restructures and other organisational changes, as required. 4. Assist HR Business Partners, in liaison with the HR Learning and Development Coordinator, to ensure that workforce planning, training needs analysis and development plans are actioned. 5. Support and in some circumstances, lead, HR projects and undertake related research. For example, lead the Happy Healthy Here staff health and wellbeing arrangements and Job Evaluation approach. 6. Work with the HR Business Partners to develop and deliver training and other support to managers.

Our Public Sector Client are looking for a Payroll Delivery Services Coordinator to play a key role in delivering high-quality payroll services, supporting organisational change and driving continuous service improvement. The Payroll Delivery Team provides payroll services to the local Council, schools, academies and a range of external public-sector organisations. This includes providing advice and guidance on payroll-related matters, maintaining employee records, and supporting the development of HR&OD services through improved systems, processes and management information. This technical role supports the delivery of payroll services by acting as a key point of contact across Payroll Delivery, customers and internal teams, ensuring activities are effectively coordinated and delivered in line with organisational and financial controls. The postholder will use their knowledge of local government payroll processes, Oracle systems, organisational structures and data to interpret requirements, resolve issues and support the effective delivery of payroll services.
