Key Responsibilities Provide personal care and practical daily living support in service users own homes. Assist with household tasks, meal preparation, shopping, and daily routines. Support service users with hobbies, interests, and meaningful activities. Promote independence, wellbeing, and community inclusion. Follow personalised care plans and report any changes in needs. Safely dispose of waste and hazardous materials. Communicate effectively and adapt to individual needs. Contribute to personalised support plans. Safeguard and promote the welfare of all service users. 9Work flexibly to meet the needs of the service. Skills & Experience Excellent communication skills. Ability to interpret basic medical information. Calm, professional, and reliable approach. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Understanding of confidentiality and data protection. Strong teamwork skills. Qualifications NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) preferred but not essential. Experience in a care or healthcare setting is beneficial. Role Overview We are seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Manager to lead our domiciliary care operations. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering safe, person-centred care, ensuring compliance with CQC regulations, and driving continuous improvement across the service. Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day operations of the domiciliary care service, ensuring high-quality care delivery. Maintain full regulatory compliance, prepare for inspections, and uphold all statutory requirements. Recruit, train, supervise, and support care staff, promoting a positive and professional culture. Ensure robust care plans, risk assessments, and safeguarding measures are in place and regularly reviewed. Support growth of the service, maintain relationships with stakeholders, and contribute to strategic planning. Monitor performance, conduct audits, and implement improvements where required. Build strong relationships with service users, families, and external professionals. Requirements Registered Manager experience within domiciliary care (minimum 2 years preferred). NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Leadership & Management for Health and Social Care (or working towards). Strong understanding of CQC regulations, safeguarding, and care governance. Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities. A genuine passion for delivering high-quality care.
