HGV Class 1 Vehicle Transport Driver Location: Carrington, Manchester (M31) Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: 825 per week (Self-employed options available) About RML Transport RML Transport specialises in time-sensitive, high-end vehicle transport services. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a professional Class 1 Driver to join our expanding team. The Role We are looking for a reliable and experienced Class 1 (C+E) Driver to transport vehicles safely across the UK. You will be driving an 8.5T Mercedes Atego Automatic towing a 3.5T Brian James T6 trailer. Monday to Friday Average 50 hours per week Early starts are required Flexibility is essential due to customer requirements Occasional nights out (maximum two per week) Delivering high-value vehicles throughout the UK Maintaining excellent customer service and professionalism at all times To see the type of work you'll be involved in, visit our Requirements Valid Class 1 (C+E) Driving Licence Valid Driver CPC Valid Digital Tachograph Card Be aged 25 or over (insurance requirements) Maximum of 3 penalty points Previous vehicle transport experience preferred or at least 2 years' Class 1 driving experience Strong attention to detail when loading and unloading vehicles Ability to complete proof of collection and delivery documentation accurately Good knowledge of Drivers' Hours Regulations and UK road traffic laws Reliable, punctual and able to meet delivery deadlines Benefits 825 per week Full training provided Uniform supplied 26.20 overnight allowance plus secure parking paid 20 per month phone contribution 100 monthly performance bonus for zero equipment damage Free on-site parking If you have any questions about the role, please contact us via email or phone.
