Job Title: Sheet Metal Fabricator Stainless / Aluminium / Mild Steel (Temp to Perm) Location: Birmingham, B33 Salary: £ insert rate/range DOE (add before posting listings with a salary get significantly higher application rates) Job Type: Temporary to Permanent, Full-Time Job Description: We're recruiting on behalf of an established engineering fabrication business in Birmingham for an experienced Sheet Metal Fabricator to join their busy workshop on a temp-to-perm basis , with a permanent position offered to the right candidate after a qualifying period. This is a varied, hands-on role covering a genuine mix of fabrication work no repetitive production-line output. You'll be working across stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel, producing quality fabricated components and assemblies from engineering drawings. What you'll be doing: Fabricating in stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel TIG welding (particularly stainless steel and aluminium) MIG welding Sheet metal folding and forming Guillotine cutting Press brake operation Rolling/forming sheet materials Working accurately from engineering drawings What we're looking for: Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Fabricator in an industrial/engineering environment Strong TIG welding skills, ideally on stainless and aluminium Confident MIG welding ability Experience with press brake, guillotine and folding equipment Ability to read and work from engineering drawings unsupervised Good attention to detail and a quality-first approach Why apply: Genuine route to a permanent position for the right candidate Varied fabrication work across multiple materials not a single-product production line Established, long-standing engineering business Based in Birmingham (B33) easy access from surrounding areas If you're a skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator looking for a opportunity with a well-established fabrication company, apply now with your up-to-date CV.
