Bellow & Gimbal Production Operative To manufacture and machine various assemblies using recognised trade skills under the supervision of a Team Leader. Producing quality finished components to drawings and routing requirements that meet Aerospace standards. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Assembling and welding using a resistance/seam welding machine to customer requirements using various metals and hand skills (stainless steel, titanium, Inconel) Assembling and welding using automated TIG welding machine to customer requirements using various metals and hand skills (stainless steel, titanium, Inconel) Forming & trimming bellows on fully automated, semi-automated and manual bellows forming machine To work with the laboratory to ensure that weld test is sufficient To work to drawing and route cards requirements To obtain and maintain Operator verification approval stamps To work efficiently within agreed standards To assist in introducing new techniques and improved methods of working where possible To be responsible for general housekeeping and tidiness on the shop To bring forward ideas to improve and reduce costs in production where possible To be conversant with all relevant AWPS and operating procedures used on the above job description To be familiar with the Health and Safety and Fire policies for the company and to attend mandatory updates where required Flexible attitude towards work/teamwork
