Ensure that accidents, incidents and hazards are recorded and reported and investigated. Encourage staff to report hazards, Near Misses and raise health and safety concerns to staff. Take full responsibility for managing COSHH within the company, and mitigate risks. Carry out Health, Safety and Environment Risk Assessments, and introduce steps to reduce and minimise risks. Support the Managing Director and Senior Management Team (SMT) Compile and report monthly strategic imperatives (KPls) relative to your Department. Compile and report on Departmental targets, objectives and forecasts. Qualifications/Experience Background in Engineering, Quality, Rail, Electrical or from a factory setting desirable Qualification in Health & Safety or Environmental Management.(desirable) A NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent desirable Background electrical / mechanical engineering desirable A proactive approach to health and safety with ability to lead by example. Laminator Manufacturing Operator Location: Hayes, Middlesex Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am 4pm (37.5 hrs per week) Type: Contract / Temp, Full-Time About the Role We are currently recruiting for a Laminator / Laminating Operator to join a busy manufacturing site in Hayes. This is a hands-on role within the laminating section, working in a cleanroom environment to support the production of high-quality laminated sheets used in aerospace and specialist engineering applications. This role is ideally suited to candidates with solid manufacturing experience who are detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working in a physically active role. Key Responsibilities Operate a continuous coating machine to apply adhesive to foils. Stack coated foils and prepare laminated sheets in a cleanroom environment. Load and unload curing presses, using a ball roller table to move heavy loads. Carry out peel testing to ensure correct peel strength. Perform guillotining and other associated production tasks. Maintain excellent housekeeping and follow lean manufacturing techniques (e.g. 5S). Work in other departments when required to support production needs. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental policies. What We re Looking For Previous manufacturing or production experience (essential).
