The Role As Project Manager, you will take responsibility for the safe and successful delivery of multiple work packages, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You'll work closely with clients, subcontractors, and site delivery teams to drive performance across a technically challenging environment. Key Responsibilities: - Managing the delivery of water infrastructure and heavy civils packages from inception through to completion. - Coordinating complex utilities diversions, including liaison with statutory undertakers and key stakeholders. - Leading site teams to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with programme. - Managing subcontractors, commercial performance, and project budgets. - Producing and monitoring programmes, resource plans, and project reporting. - Ensuring compliance with contract requirements, health & safety legislation, environmental standards, and quality procedures. - Working collaboratively with engineering, commercial, planning, and client teams to overcome technical and programme challenges. Experience Required: - Proven experience as a Project Manager within the civil engineering or infrastructure sector. - Strong background delivering water infrastructure projects, including pipelines, pumping stations, treatment works, or associated assets. - Experience managing utilities diversions and coordinating multiple stakeholders. - Knowledge of heavy civils, including earthworks, reinforced concrete structures, drainage, buried structures, and associated infrastructure works. - Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills. - SMSTS, CSCS, TWC and First Aid.

Midlands principal build contractor are looking for a freelance Senior/Site Engineer for a 40 week duration for a new build distribution centre commencing end October. Reporting to the senior management team you role and responsibility will be to manage and supervise various subcontractor packages inc QA management for groundworks, steelframe, cladding, brickwork etc. Along with the Project/Site Managers you will also be responsible for assisting in any design changes during any client/subcontractor progress meetings, other duties will also include H&S management, material requisition as well as some elements of setting out. CSCS Card, SMSTS and First Aid certificates will be a mandatory requirement as well as a proven track record working for principal build contractors delivering distribution/industrial units from inception through to completion

Senior/Site Engineer required for a new build multi million pound leisure centre which will be a steel portal frame building incorporating a swimming pool, fitness room inc spa, dance studios and external facilities and all associated carpark area. Working for the principal main contractor you will be responsible for supervision and control initially of groundworks and various other subcontract packages, initial setting out for main building which will involve concrete pad foundations, holding down bolts, associated drainage and groundworks inc all QA work. Other management duties will involve assisting the Project Manager on a day to day basis for the general supervision/control of all subcontract packages, site inductions, health & safety, providing information regarding any design changes aswell as attending client/subcontractor progress meeting etc. Ideally looking for someone who has their own equipment but not essential, CSCS Card, SMSTS and First Aid certificates will be a mandatory requirement.
