We are looking for a proactive Assembly Technician to join the production line. Reporting to the Production Manager, as the Assembly Technician you will support delivery of products for the space industry. Key Responsibilities & Tasks Efficiently operate on the workshop floor, ensuring that all operations adhere to established protocols and safety standards Execute technical tasks with a high degree of expertise, maintaining and operating complex machinery and equipment involved within Aerospace Monitor and maintain the quality of work produced, ensuring that it meets the rigorous standards required in aerospace engineering Uphold and advocate for strict adherence to health and safety regulations, including the conduct of risk assessments and implementation of safety measures Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues that arise during the production process, applying a methodical approach to troubleshooting Desired Experience & Skills: Proven experience working in a busy production/assembly environment (automotive, aerospace industries preferred, but not essential) Demonstrated proficiency in handling engineering tasks and operating specialised machinery Strong understanding of health and safety practices in an engineering environment Clear and effective communication skills, capable of collaborating with team members across various departments Versatile and agile, able to excel in a dynamic and evolving work setting

We are looking for an EICA engineer to join our team in a contract outside IR35 position. It will be working on clean water projects, so clean water experience is essential. Main responsibilities Development of technical solutions and coordinating work with multi-disciplinary teams Process, Civil and Mechanical). Production of technical reports and the ability to work independently and as a team member to carry out checking, reviews and approval of complex electrical detailed designs, to include calculations, specifications, reports and drawings. Analysis of options and selection of technical solutions as appropriate. Ensuring contractors designs comply with the latest company specifications and other relevant industry specifications (Wimes, IET wiring regulations etc.) and legislations. Development of outline scheme designs. Assistance in preparation of scheme programmes, estimates and tender documentation. You'll need: Skills / Qualifications / Experience HNC or a Degree in Engineering or equivalent training in the relevant area. Working towards becoming an Incorporated or Chartered Engineer with the IET. Extensive experience in water utilities would be advantageous. Ability to work closely with others. Technically competent knowing when to refer to others when required. Good technical report writing and editorial skills, and good oral communication. Detailed knowledge of PLC systems, HMI s, Variable Speed Drives, Harmonic filtration, data networks, telemetry systems and Standby Generator systems. Competent IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite - knowledge of Google Workspace would be beneficial.
