Quantity Surveyor - Water AMP8 Location : Testwood, Hampshire (Flexible Hybrid) Work Type : Long-term Contract Our client, a T1 contractor is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team in Hampshire, offering hybrid working. Reporting to the Managing Quantity Surveyor, you will manage key accounts on a major project or take full commercial responsibility for smaller schemes, supporting successful project delivery from start to finish. Key Responsibilities Applications for payment, valuations and cost value reconciliations Cost control, forecasting and cash flow management Preparation of commercial data for monthly reporting (value, cost, profit/loss) Supply chain management, including subcontract procurement Preparing subcontract enquiries, negotiating terms and setting up contracts Assisting with risk and value management to optimise project solutions Contract administration across relevant forms and systems Maintaining accurate and up-to-date commercial and contractual records Ongoing liaison with site teams, subcontractors and client representatives Providing contractual and commercial advice to site teams Escalating safety or commercial risk issues when identified About You Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent ARICS qualified or working towards APC Experience working for a main contractor Experience within the water or utilities sector Knowledge of NEC contracts This is a strong opportunity to join a leading contractor delivering long-term infrastructure work, with excellent career development, professional support and flexible working. Job title: Senior Systems Engineer Location Scotland We re working with an innovative space company developing next-generation launch technology, who are looking to add a Senior Avionics Systems Engineer to their growing engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the development of an orbital-class launch system, taking ownership of onboard avionics systems across the full engineering lifecycle. The Role You ll act as a technical focal point across avionics and wider vehicle systems, working closely with systems engineering, GNC, propulsion, software, and ground support teams to deliver highly reliable flight hardware for a complex aerospace platform. Responsibilities will include: Leading avionics system design and integration activities Defining interfaces between onboard electronics, vehicle subsystems, and ground systems Supporting system architecture, requirements definition, and verification activities Managing technical schedules, development priorities, and engineering coordination Contributing to hardware/software trade studies and technical decision-making Supporting testing, troubleshooting, installation, and validation of electronic systems Working cross-functionally across multidisciplinary engineering teams What They re Looking For Degree qualified in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar 5+ years of experience within avionics, embedded systems, electronics, or complex systems engineering Strong background in integration, testing, or development of electronic systems Experience working within high-reliability industries such as space, aerospace, defence, automotive, or similar Understanding of systems engineering principles, interfaces, and V&V activities Previous technical leadership or project ownership experience Hands-on mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and support hardware integration activities Strong communication skills and ability to work across multidisciplinary teams

We are looking for an EICA engineer to join our team in a contract outside IR35 position. It will be working on clean water projects, so clean water experience is essential. Main responsibilities Development of technical solutions and coordinating work with multi-disciplinary teams Process, Civil and Mechanical). Production of technical reports and the ability to work independently and as a team member to carry out checking, reviews and approval of complex electrical detailed designs, to include calculations, specifications, reports and drawings. Analysis of options and selection of technical solutions as appropriate. Ensuring contractors designs comply with the latest company specifications and other relevant industry specifications (Wimes, IET wiring regulations etc.) and legislations. Development of outline scheme designs. Assistance in preparation of scheme programmes, estimates and tender documentation. You'll need: Skills / Qualifications / Experience HNC or a Degree in Engineering or equivalent training in the relevant area. Working towards becoming an Incorporated or Chartered Engineer with the IET. Extensive experience in water utilities would be advantageous. Ability to work closely with others. Technically competent knowing when to refer to others when required. Good technical report writing and editorial skills, and good oral communication. Detailed knowledge of PLC systems, HMI s, Variable Speed Drives, Harmonic filtration, data networks, telemetry systems and Standby Generator systems. Competent IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite - knowledge of Google Workspace would be beneficial.
