We are looking for a Building Maintenance Helpdesk Administrator to join our engineering facilities team. You will be the first point of contact for maintenance requests, logging jobs, scheduling engineers (electricians / plumbers), updating customers, and ensuring service levels are met. Key Responsibilities: Log and manage maintenance requests. Schedule engineers and subcontractors. Monitor job progress and update clients. Maintain accurate records on the helpdesk system. Support the facilities team with general administration. Requirements: Previous administration or helpdesk experience within a building maintenance engineering envoriment Strong communication and organisational skills. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office. Maintenance Carpenter - fire doors Due to sickness and holidays our customer is currently seeking a Maintenance Carpenter to work within a Hospital environment in Swindon This is an excellent opportunity to become an integral part of a team committed to delivering Hard Services Facilities Maintenance within an NHS Estate environment. Role Summary: As a Maintenance Carpenter, you will be responsible for carrying out Planned and Remedial works within wards, communal areas, offices, break out areas and wash rooms. This role requires a positive person, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team. You wiull also be requried to carry out repairs on fire doors (furniture) and must have knowledge / experience of this too Responsibilities: Repair and maintain doors, skirting boards, installing new dry marker boards, towel rails, repairing canteen areas, easing locks, repairing / replacing skirting boards Assisting the Fabric team with general building repairs throughout the hospital Ensure risk assessments are available and ensure safe working practices with consideration for the environment and others' safety.
