Job Title: Chef de Partie Location: Hatfield Salary: £30,000 - £31,000 per annum (depending on experience) Hours: Winter: Generally, 8:00am - 4:00pm (unless functions) Summer: Hours may extend up to 10:30pm (depending on business needs) Rota Basis: 7-day operation - 40 hours per week (any hours over 40 paid as additional holiday during winter. About the Role: My client is seeking a passionate and driven Chef de Partie to join a small, friendly team of four chefs, making you the fifth member of a close-knit, professional kitchen. This is a great opportunity for someone with 1-2 years' experience in a fast-paced kitchen who is looking to grow and develop within a supportive, well-established venue. You'll play a key role in preparing quality dishes for their members, guests, and large functions, from casual dining and buffets to three-course event meals. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and cook dishes to a consistently high standard across all menus. Assist with service for large functions, buffets, and events. Maintain excellent food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards always. Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in daily operations. Work efficiently under pressure and within a fast-paced environment. Take responsibility for your section, ensuring organisation and accuracy. Contribute ideas for menu development and specials. About You: Previous experience as a Chef or Chef de Partie. Health & Safety and Food Hygiene Certificates required. Able to work independently and as part of a small, supportive team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Comfortable working under pressure and to deadlines. Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and evenings during busy periods. Job Title: Materials Controller - Reach truck Salary: £13.40 per hour Location: Welham Green Job Type: Temp to Perm Working Hours: 7:30am - 16:15pm & 7:30am - 15:00pm About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and hard-working Materials Controller to join our Material Logistics team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to assist in all functions of goods in, cycle counting and materials handling operations within our material logistics team. The ideal candidate will possess a proactive approach and can work within a team environment. Training will be provided, but some familiarity with working in a busy warehouse environment, and someone who holds a valid Reach Forklift licence would be required. Key Responsibilities: Encompass aspects of receiving goods, stock handling, stock locating, and picking of works orders and cycle counting. Perform perpetual inventory counts. User Forklift truck to ensure all stock is in the correct place, is correctly stored, securely wrapped and within the respective locations. Receive and book goods in to correct locations in an accurate and timely manner, liaising with relevant internal departments. Ensure that good Housekeeping and health and safety regulations are adhered to within your work area. Maintain knowledge of products and processes involved in the day-to-day delivery of goods. Deal with any stock discrepancies or quality issues efficiently. Support and suggest the effective management of inward & outward flow of inventory. Ideal Candidate: Proactive nature, willing to learn quickly and take new challenges. Attention to detail. Health and safety awareness in warehouse environment.
