Gray s Inn Road is a 16-bed short-stay accommodation service supporting people with a recent history of rough sleeping to stabilise, rebuild confidence and move towards a home of their own. Working at the heart of Camden s response to homelessness, the service aims to ensure that rough sleeping is rare, brief and non-recurrent, with most residents moving into suitable longer-term accommodation within three to six months. As Resettlement Worker, you ll take the lead on helping residents navigate that next step. You ll build a clear picture of each person s housing needs, strengths and aspirations, creating practical resettlement plans and identifying move-on options that are safe, realistic and sustainable. Working closely with Support Workers, you ll help residents overcome barriers, prepare for independent living and feel confident about what comes next. About you: You understand housing and resettlement pathways and know how to find safe, affordable and sustainable move-on options, including within the private rented sector. You can build trust with people experiencing multiple disadvantage, recognising their strengths and motivating them to take meaningful steps towards independence. You re confident completing thorough assessments and turning them into clear, achievable resettlement plans shaped around each person. You understand the practical side of sustaining a home, including housing management, benefits, budgeting, rent payments and tenancy responsibilities. You re a determined and collaborative relationship-builder who can work effectively with landlords, housing providers, mental health services, substance use services and other partners to keep progress moving.
