This includes: Managing day-to-day operations, staff supervision, and care planning Driving high standards to achieve Good or Outstanding Ofsted ratings Ensuring safeguarding and regulatory compliance (Children s Homes Regulations & Quality Standards 2015) Recruiting, coaching, and developing staff to deliver outstanding care Building strong relationships with professionals, families, and the wider community Overseeing budgets, resources, and the health & safety of the homes Taking part in shared on-call duties About You We re seeking an experienced, dynamic manager who shares our commitment to transforming the lives of children and young people. You ll be: Qualified with at least Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care and Children & Young People (or equivalent) Experienced : minimum of 2 years in a residential setting within the last 5 years, including at least 2 years at Registered Manager level Knowledgeable of Children s Home Regulations, safeguarding, care planning, and multi-agency working Skilled leader with proven ability to inspire and manage teams, monitor performance, and deliver excellent outcomes Resilient and organised , able to manage complex situations and drive positive change Holder of a full UK driving licence with at least 2 years experience Working Hours Typically Monday Friday 9am 5pm Shared on-call responsibilities Make a Difference This is more than a job it s a chance to shape a new home, lead a dedicated team, and transform the lives of children and young people.
